About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at HVAC Recruitment. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner, utilizing your expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement improvements to existing systems, driving innovation and excellence in facilities management.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a facilities management environment, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications, such as City & Guilds or HVAC certifications, are desirable.
