Evening Events Manager

The Queen's Club presents an exceptional opportunity for a permanent Tournament & Events Manager to become a vital part of our esteemed team.

This role offers a unique chance to engage with the prestigious Queen's Club, contributing to the core activities of the organization.

As the Evening Events Manager, you will have the responsibility to initiate and oversee your own Social Events for Members and their Guests. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of the Queen's Club Tennis Championships, as well as coordinating corporate tennis days throughout the summer season. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sports department during peak periods.

We are looking for candidates with a background in social event management, demonstrating experience in planning and executing events while possessing strong administrative skills.

Successful candidates will be highly collaborative, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels within the Club. You should be self-driven, proactive, and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic environment while maintaining an organized and flexible approach to your responsibilities.

Social & Sports Events

Assist in the development of the Member Social Event Calendar, enhancing it throughout the year while introducing innovative events alongside traditional favorites.

You will be responsible for managing event communications through various channels, including the website, event calendar, and internal communication tools.

On the day of an event, your duties will include setup and general administration, such as preparing guest lists, menus, and coordinating with suppliers. You will also be present during the event to welcome members and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Familiarity with the Jonas database system is essential, as you will be involved in setting up online events, managing bookings, and processing ticket sales.

Timely responses to member inquiries regarding social events are crucial, and you will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure a cohesive approach to social events.

The Queen's Club Championships

Support the Tournament and Events Department with the launch of Member Tournament Ticketing. Members may reach out through various communication methods.

During the Championships, you may be required to lead the Tournament & Events team, working extended hours to ensure the success of the two-week event.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is necessary, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.

This position may require occasional evening and weekend work for events, with standard hours typically being Monday to Friday.
