This is a casual role with fluctuating hours, based on our event schedule. The Event Assistant's primary role is to work as an extra set of hands, assisting our Lead Wedding Planners on Event days to ensure each Event runs smoothly. This includes the set-up and tear down of each Event. Office Administrators are scheduled on an as-needed basis, determined by our wedding planning workload. Office Assistants are responsible for miscellaneous organizational tasks, maintaining our storage space, assisting with the logistics of event planning, filling out spreadsheets, and general administration. Office Administrators work from our office in Byron, with the flexibility to complete some work at home and create your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and gain valuable experience in the wedding and event planning industry. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for event planning, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist Lead Wedding Planners on Event days
* Set up and tear down of each Event
* Perform miscellaneous organizational tasks
* Maintain storage space
* Assist with event planning logistics
* Fill out spreadsheets
* General administration

**Requirements:**

* Weekend availability during peak wedding season (May - October)
* Willingness to work weekends, including early mornings and occasionally late nights
* Access to a reliable vehicle and open to traveling for event days
* No event planning experience necessary, but customer service, restaurant, or hospitality experience is ideal

**Work Location:**

Hybrid remote in London, ON N6H 5W9
