About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Home Bargains. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, maintaining a high level of product availability and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and returns.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash transactions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate, ranging from £9.00 to £11.88 per hour, depending on age.
  • 20 hours per week, including 6:00am starts.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service.
