Our client is a well-regarded food-focused pub located in a scenic village, known for its exceptional culinary offerings.

They are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join their team of five. This bustling gastro pub prides itself on creating all dishes in-house using the finest local produce from Derbyshire. The establishment has received numerous accolades and currently holds a prestigious rosette.

The ideal candidate will be a versatile chef capable of managing various kitchen sections. It is essential to be prepared to take charge of the kitchen during the head chef's absence. This gastro pub serves up to 150 guests daily, maintaining a commitment to quality. You will lead the kitchen team by example, as this role is very hands-on.

This Sous Chef role is perfect for an experienced Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef who is passionate about culinary arts and possesses creativity and flair. The gastro pub has an outstanding reputation both locally and beyond. They are dedicated to sourcing ingredients from local Derbyshire suppliers, proudly showcasing this commitment through a daily menu that highlights seasonal produce.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong passion and drive to excel in the culinary industry. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef.

Requirements:
- Experience with fresh ingredients in a busy rosette-rated environment
- Proven track record in a high-pressure kitchen setting
