Our reliable in-house team operates nationwide, consistently delivering high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
We are currently looking for a motivated individual to become a part of our Credit Control Team, based in our office with opportunities for hybrid working arrangements after the successful completion of the probationary period.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Intermediate skills in Excel
- Experience with SAGE is preferred, though not essential as comprehensive training will be provided
- Strong personal time management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- A knack for building positive relationships
- A friendly yet professional demeanor, with the ability to apply pressure when necessary
- A collaborative spirit, enjoying teamwork in a growing organization
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts
- Conduct credit assessments for new clients and set up SAGE accounts
- Proactively follow up on outstanding debts across multiple divisions via phone and email
- Issue account statements
- Resolve complex queries
- Maintain accurate records in the Credit Control system
- Process daily cash postings to the sales ledger
- Recommend accounts for legal action when necessary
- Perform account reconciliations
- Provide weekly/monthly updates to the Credit Control Manager
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake additional duties as required
