The Role:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our transport operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across various locations. You will work 9.5 hours per day, driving a well-maintained vehicle, and providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods as per the assigned routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely transported and delivered without damage.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly, maintaining clear communication with the transport office.
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner during all deliveries.
  • Assist with any logistical challenges that may arise during deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient solutions.
What We're Looking For:
  • A valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record.
  • A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, with a strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to work the required hours and adapt to changing schedules.
