Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver - Logistics Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at Integral Staff. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate HGV Class 2 Vehicle: Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods by operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards and is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods securely and efficiently, ensuring they are delivered without damage.
  • Adhere to Traffic Laws: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
  • Complete Delivery Paperwork: Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly, maintaining clear communication with the transport office.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner during all deliveries.
  • Assist with Logistical Challenges: Assist with any logistical challenges that may arise during deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient solutions.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 Licence: Possess a valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record.
  • Driver CPC: Hold a valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, with a strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Flexibility and Reliability: Be flexible and reliable, with a willingness to work the required hours and adapt to changing schedules.
