The Role
We're looking for a highly experienced recruitment professional to lead our construction recruitment desk. As a Senior Recruitment Manager, you'll be responsible for building and expanding our construction recruitment business, focusing on developing new business and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
- Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
- Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 per annum plus commission, depending on experience and role level
- Client Portfolio: Work closely with numerous well-known leading construction clients to understand their staffing needs and deliver service excellence.
- Reporting to: Directly report to David Lane, an experienced construction industry expert and former director at Hays.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Take charge of business development activities, building relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strong focus on generating new business and growing a desk within the industry.
Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their specific recruitment needs within the construction sector. Develop tailored recruitment solutions to meet these needs.
Recruitment Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to placement. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing high-quality candidates in temporary roles.
Leadership & Strategy: You may also be involved in strategic planning, team leadership, and contributing to the overall growth and direction of the business. This role is perfect for a recruitment professional with a strong background in business development, particularly within the construction sector.
