About the Role

Our client, a leading property finance lender, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their team in Kent and Essex. As a key member of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for raising the profile of the organization across the region in the real estate space, liaising with brokers and introducers to promote the organization and educate the market about their appetite for lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new real estate lending with an emphasis on bridging and buy-to-let funding for experienced landlords
  • Assess and shape deals, proactively seeking new opportunities to add to the organization's growing lending book
  • Develop and maintain a strong external network of brokers and intermediaries
  • Work autonomously, taking ownership of deal activity and contributing to the organization's success

Requirements:

  • Experience in real estate lending, with a good understanding of and track record in bridging and buy-to-let
  • Excellent external network of brokers and intermediaries
  • Good track record of business development and origination of new lending, particularly focused towards professional landlords
  • Ability to work autonomously and be proactive and self-motivated
