About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's rapidly expanding team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair of mechanical systems and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs as necessary to guarantee all equipment is fit for purpose.
  • Carry out detailed Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure equipment meets quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns at customer sites, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within industrial machinery, manufacturing, or plant equipment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and a commitment to excellence.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as NVQ or equivalent.
  • A valid UK Driver's license.
  • Previous experience as a Mobile Engineer is highly desirable.
