About the Role
Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a Casual Driver to join their Fleet Department. As a Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering vehicles to customers within allocated time scales.
Main Responsibilities
- To follow instructions with particular attention to the delivery details and to carry out such deliveries in the most cost effective way.
- To ensure all administrative systems required by the Company for deliveries are complied with and all documentation is completed.
- To deliver vehicles to customers within allocated time scales.
- To check all vehicles for paperwork, damage & correct specification.
- To ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and returned to the Delivery Co-ordinator.
- To take the lead in any customers' concerns at handover.
- To log duties on daily log sheets provided.
- To notify us of hours available for work in advance.
Requirements
- A full, Manual, current UK driving license
- Excellent organisational skills and communication, both written and verbal, with great attention to detail.
- An understanding of the Highway Code and other current traffic and motoring regulations
- A friendly and polite manner
- A positive can-do attitude and team player attitude
