We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Night Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in the Hawkesbury-area.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts.
- Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective, compassionate, and supportive interpersonal skills.
- Respect for each resident as an individual, aware of their need for self-respect and privacy.
- Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes.
- Medical clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
