Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Restoration Technician to join our client's expert team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of classic and vintage vehicles, from muscle cars to rare antiques.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete vehicle restorations, including disassembly, cleaning, repairing, and reassembly.
- Repair and replace body panels, straighten frames, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components to ensure they operate like new.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and instrument panels.
- Work with clients to customize vehicles to their specific desires, from performance upgrades to aesthetic changes.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that all work meets our high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians, fabricators, and painters to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and techniques applied.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle restoration or a similar role.
- Proficient in bodywork, painting, mechanical repairs, and electrical diagnostics.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Passion for classic and vintage vehicles, with a drive to restore them to perfection.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Relevant certifications in automotive repair, bodywork, or restoration are highly desirable.
