We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic AI Governance Manager to join our team at RELX. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our AI strategy and ensuring that our practices align with the RELX Responsible AI Principles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain AI Governance Frameworks: Create and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks that ensure the responsible development and deployment of AI systems across our organization.
- Conduct Market Analysis and Research: Evaluate best practices in AI governance, identify threats and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations for organizational change.
- Drive AI Governance Initiatives: Develop and iterate governance artefacts, including data cards, model cards, and algorithmic impact assessments, to ensure transparency and accountability in AI decision-making.
- Train and Educate Stakeholders: Scale our RAIDS Champions training program to provide ongoing education and awareness on AI ethics and governance, and facilitate support for product and data science teams in completing Algorithmic Impact Assessments.
- Consult on AI Policy and Strategy: Collaborate with governance leaders across RELX to develop and implement AI policy and strategy, including working on the upcoming EU AI Act.
- Expertise in AI Ethics and Data Governance: Possess up-to-date knowledge of the AI governance landscape and a deep understanding of ethics and diversity issues in publishing, research, academia, and healthcare.
- Knowledge of Data Technology Landscape: Have an awareness of the data technology landscape, including knowledge of some tooling and platform capabilities.
- Training and Education Experience: Have experience in delivering training, including developing training materials, planning, and facilitating workshops.
