Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Paediatric Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Paediatric Healthcare Support Worker, you will work with a male paediatric client with a tracheostomy, ventilation, nebulisation, and PEG-feeding. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Monitor and maintain the client's medical equipment, including the tracheostomy and ventilation
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our client
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably with children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
