We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Business Analyst to join our team at Jellycat, a leading luxury soft toys company. As a key member of our ecommerce team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving our online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Needs Identification: Identify business needs within the ecommerce area of the business, leading process reviews, defining system enhancements and change requirements.
  • Process Mapping and Improvement: Map business processes into process flow diagrams and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business, including departmental stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Requirements Gathering: Prepare and lead requirements workshops with all stakeholder groups identified for the initiative.
  • Agile Methodologies: Collaborate with the Head of Digital Transformation and cross-functional BA & project SMEs on departmental and business priorities, with experience in agile or waterfall environments.

Requirements

  • Ecommerce Operations Knowledge: Sound understanding of ecommerce operations, processes, and architectures.
  • Requirements Definition: Experience of defining requirements within a top-tier ecommerce architecture.
  • Process Mapping Skills: Strong process mapping skills, with the ability to also upskill the wider BA team.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to manipulate data in Excel, using intermediate formulae skills, and practical experience of PowerBI, SQL query building an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to work to fixed deadlines and SLAs, and a continuous improvement attitude.
