Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team at Dnevo Partners. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure the financial stability and security of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily monitoring and reporting of market and collateral risks, identifying and implementing improvements to daily processes.
  • Proactively identify, report, and ensure transparency of risks, escalating material issues to senior management.
  • Support senior team members in the development and automation of risk reporting and analysis.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative input into the documentation of risk methodologies.
  • Monitor member cleared exposures and requirements, as well as investment counterpart exposures versus limits and policy, escalating where necessary.
  • Monitor external and macro market risks and their potential impact on collateral, liquidity, and investment limit frameworks and policies.
  • Monitor metals market risks and their potential impact on margin parameters and members' exposures.
  • Prepare daily, monthly, and committee reports, implementing improvements and automation where possible.
  • Assist with the documentation of risk reporting procedures, ensuring alignment with models and methodology documentation.
  • Identify reporting development needs and enhance within the model implementation process.
  • Contribute to ensuring default management capabilities are sufficient to manage a default in line with regulations, participating in regular default management exercises.
  • Assist in the business testing of IT systems, including documentation of test cases, test results, and escalating defects to senior management.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject (preferred).
  • Financial or market-based qualification or willingness to complete (e.g., CFA, FRM, ACT) (preferred).

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable financial or risk experience (preferred).
  • Good financial mathematics background.
  • Keen to develop and apply understanding of risk principles, including Initial Margin, VaR, collateral haircuts, stress testing, back testing, liquidity stress testing.
  • Intermediate Excel/Word skills, with basic VBA/SQL skills and Python and PowerBI experience.
  • Basic fixed income, treasury, or money markets knowledge (desirable).
  • Mechanics and processes behind clearing house risk management.
  • Knowledge of Treasury, Liquidity, or Commodity Risk (desirable).
