About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Administrator to join our Personal Health Commissioning Team on a 6-month fixed contract. As a member of our Administration team, you will play an essential role in supporting our internal clinical teams, individuals, and their families, care services, and Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to a number of clinical services, processing referrals and updating patient information.
  • Arrange and book annual reviews in a timely manner, including management of clinical colleagues' calendar.
  • Draft and send assessment outcome letters.
  • Be a point of contact for patients and professionals, providing a route of communication to the clinical teams and sharing guidance as necessary.
  • Receive and action day-to-day queries by telephone and email. Respond appropriately to unexpected and challenging situations, which may include contact with patients in emotional situations.
  • Create and maintain electronic records, databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
  • General office duties, such as photocopying, scanning, printing documentation, and undertaking post duties.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams or similar IT packages.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience and understanding of data protection legislation would be beneficial.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and make judgements involving facts or situations, some requiring analysis on how to deal with enquiries.
  • Able to work to own initiative, organising and prioritising own workload to set deadlines.
  • Follow policies in own role and may be required to comment/implement policies and propose changes to practices and procedures for own area.
