Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to the needs of Year 1 students.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and wellbeing.
  • Differentiated Learning: Use innovative teaching strategies and resources to support differentiated learning, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.

Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1), preferably in Year 1.

  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
