Cardiology Clinic Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cardiology Clinic Coordinator to join our team at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinics, providing exceptional patient care, and working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the flow of patients through our cardiology clinics, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patient records and correspondence.
- Prepare and manage patient lists, including pulling lists from the HISS system and requesting x-rays and other investigations as needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient demographic information is recorded and maintained in both hospital notes and electronic systems.
- Provide a reception service to patients, utilizing the HISS system to document their arrival and outcome.
- Manage HRG sheets, diagnostic test request forms, and other administrative tasks to ensure timely and accurate data recording.
- GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, with a focus on patient care and customer service.
- Excellent keyboard skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
