We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Environmental team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective implementation of environmental policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on environmental best practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven experience in environmental management, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
