We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful school for children with special educational needs. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the teacher in planning and evaluating learning activities to ensure pupils' progress and attainment.
- Provide meaningful feedback on pupil attainment and progress, and contribute to the monitoring and assessment of pupils' progress.
- Assist in promoting pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being through a whole-day curriculum.
- Experience supporting children/young adults with additional needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Ability to work flexibly, be hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- A competitive hourly rate of pay of £12.90+ per hour, depending on experience and additional duties.
- A full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30pm), with a start date ASAP or 1st September 2024.
- A term-time only role, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
