Commercial HVAC Engineer

Salary: £44,330.77 per annum, inclusive of standby allowance £2,020.98
Benefits: Company Vehicle, Company pension scheme, BUPA (single cover), death in service, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Hours: 45 hours a week – Monday to Friday
On call / Standby: 1 week in every 4
Our client, a leading Global Facilities Management company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to cover sites across Birmingham due to a major new contract win with a highly respected Blue-Chip retailer.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive HVAC maintenance across small, medium, and large sites.
- Providing first-line maintenance support across allocated sites.
- Ensuring maintenance is completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, adhering to the company's Health and Safety Policy.
- Maintaining and repairing a range of mechanical equipment, including fans, pumps, and compressors, to recognized standards.
- Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly reporting findings to the HVAC Supervisor.
- Conducting surveys and completing reports as required by management.
- Qualified Commercial Gas/Heating Engineer with experience across multi-sites on the service and maintenance of heating systems.
- NVQ Level 3 – Commercial and Industrial Gas, Building Services/Heat & Ventilation.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- A hands-on, can-do, and flexible approach to work.
