Job Summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Network Manager to join our team. As a key member of our ICT department, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of ICT technicians to provide technical support across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of ICT technicians to ensure the effective and efficient support and deployment of ICT related equipment and resources.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team to ensure the delivery of world-class ICT solutions.
  • Work closely with the Network Manager to ensure the effective deployment of ICT services and equipment across the Trust.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the secure and efficient operation of ICT systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective integration of ICT services with business operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in installation and management of Windows Servers, Group Policy creation and management, and network setup and management.
  • Experience in managing firewalls, VLANs, routing, and link aggregation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Grade C or above in English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification.
