Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics.

About the Role:

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in both a 1:1 and group capacity. You will work closely with the Class Teacher to provide care and support to students, and contribute to their progress and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading interventions to support student progress
  • Adhering to behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Supporting children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Preparing resources and learning materials for the day
  • Co-operating with the Class Teacher
  • Working closely with children with special educational needs
  • Logging and reporting pupil progress
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Cache / NVQ Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, alongside required right to work documents and an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
