This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs.

As a Learning Support Advisor, you will provide structured support to learners with EHCP plans, aid access to learning experiences, and provide positive reinforcements and emotional support. You will also advise instructors on making necessary adjustments for learners with learning support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide structured support using a range of effective interventions within a class and/or outdoor setting.
* Aid access to the full range of learning experiences and provide modified materials as required.
* Provide positive reinforcements, praise, and emotional support to learners.
* Advise and support instructors with making necessary adjustments for learners with learning support needs.
* Ensure Learning Support Plans and contact logs are updated accurately and timely.
* Work as part of the team to ensure that the well-being and personal development of the learner enhances their learning opportunities and life skills.

Requirements:

* Knowledge and experience of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
* GCSE, 'O' Level or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English.
* NVQ3 or equivalent as recognized by the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching and Learning.
* Training in aspects of SEN, i.e. ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, SEMH etc.
