Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET) at Guidant Global Careers. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Wing Component Delivery Teams (CDTs) and providing engineering support to the Broughton Plant and its Supply Chain.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying improvements, undertaking investigations, and providing technical solutions via Structural & Systems modifications to enhance Design for Cost, Rate, and Quality. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to deliver high-quality Design solutions that meet the needs of our Industrial System and maintain the highest levels of product integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Wing Component Delivery Teams (CDTs) in delivering high-quality Design solutions
- Provide engineering support to the Broughton Plant and its Supply Chain
- Identify improvements and undertake investigations to enhance Design for Cost, Rate, and Quality
- Develop and implement technical solutions via Structural & Systems modifications
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to deliver high-quality Design solutions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Design Engineering and excellent technical skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
