The Information Security Engineering team is dedicated to the technical aspects of system architecture, data protection, and compliance audits. Our mission is to ensure that our systems and services are developed with a focus on privacy and security from the outset. You will collaborate with colleagues in governance and compliance to provide auditing capabilities and ensure that data usage adheres to regulatory standards.

Our team comprises individuals ranging from recent graduates to seasoned engineers, all with diverse backgrounds in system administration, networking, service operations, and security. We utilize leading enterprise-level tools to identify potential threats, along with proprietary scripts and online research.

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring quick responses to evolving business priorities and threat landscapes.

This position is eligible for our hybrid working policy.

Key Qualifications

  • Significant experience in information security engineering with a focus on application security, particularly in network infrastructure and engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL principles and security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in securing Microsoft and Linux operating systems, including RHEL7,8,9, CentOS 6, 7, and Ubuntu 22.04.
  • Experience with next-generation firewalls, SASE solutions, and privileged access management systems.
  • Strong grasp of data encryption, key management, and PKI.
  • Familiarity with security technology development and automation principles, including Ansible and Puppet.
  • Robust knowledge of Cloud Security across platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS, and Office 365.
  • Practical skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, and PowerShell.
  • Solid experience with EDR and XDR solutions for various operating systems and practical knowledge in email security gateway management.

  • Implementing and managing a range of security tools.
  • Contributing to security engineering projects.
  • Conducting security-related investigations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with information security requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Performing routine security checks and verifications as per business needs.
  • Actively participating in audits.
  • Keeping abreast of new and emerging threats, escalating significant issues to relevant teams for further assessment.
