Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our client, a large manufacturing group in the Kendal area. As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial procedures to ensure accurate and complete month-end processes
  • Prepare monthly direct costs and overheads cost reports
  • Prepare material cost reports and investigate standard cost variances
  • Support budgeting and business planning activities
  • Regular liaison with budget holders to review costs against budget
  • Analysis of key trends and highlighting these to senior management
  • Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar level Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering position
  • Knowledge of a manufacturing or product-based business
  • Full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Ability to influence and challenge where required
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel
