Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Position

**Role Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Camden. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, promoting their educational and personal development, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- **Provide Individualized Support**: Offer one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.
- **Collaborate with Teachers**: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
- **Foster a Supportive Environment**: Promote a supportive and nurturing learning environment, encouraging independence and confidence in students.
- **Collaborate with Professionals**: Work with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
- **Maintain Accurate Records**: Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
Requirements
- **Experience and Qualifications**: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience.
- **Passion for Education**: A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
