We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Robert Webb Recruitment. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance on health and safety matters, conducting audits and assessments, and developing tailored management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health and safety audits and fire risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety management systems and policies to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide practical advice on a wide range of health and safety issues, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and control measures.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their health and safety knowledge and skills.
- Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within client contracts to drive business growth and expansion.
- Act as a lead consultant on designated client accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety legislation and best practices, advising clients accordingly to ensure they remain compliant and competitive.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a health and safety advisor or consultant across various industries, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Hold a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, with a commitment to working towards CMIOSH status.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients, as well as build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office and OH&S software systems, with a full UK driving license and own vehicle.
