Link Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Link Worker to join our team at Meadows School, a non-maintained special school providing education for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Speech and Language difficulties, and associated learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide support and guidance to students, enabling them to make informed decisions about their transitions through the school and into adult life.
- Provide individualized support to students, addressing their specific needs and challenges, and promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior management strategies, working closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our services.
- Diploma/NVQ Level 3 Children's and Young People's Workforce (Social Care Pathway) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
- Physical and mental resilience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of our students.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and a full driving license with agreement to transport students in school vehicles and on public transport.
