Deputy Care Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest levels of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Support the Home Manager in developing the skills of the care team, using your expertise to improve care practices.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct regular reviews of residents' care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Support the care team in developing their practice, providing guidance and training as required.
  • Deliver supervisions and training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the auditing process, ensuring our home meets the highest standards of care.
  • Participate in manager's meetings, sharing your expertise and insights to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • QCF Qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of managing a staff team, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Safeguarding Adults training.
