As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and working in a two-person team on groundwork projects, drainage-related minor repairs, reinstatements, pipe work renewals, and patch lining fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work in a two-person team on groundwork projects, drainage-related minor repairs, reinstatements, pipe work renewals, and patch lining fixes.
  • Travel throughout the region in a company commercial vehicle with the Excavation Assistant, carrying out work on various types of clients and worksites, including commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, and utility projects.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and compliance.
  • Work a 47.5-hour basic working week, with flexibility required for overtime and extra travel requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in drainage, pipework, flagging and paving, block paving, reinstatement, and other related areas.
  • Hardworking team player with experience working in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully with clients and the public.
  • Up-to-date CSCS card and CPC card, NRSWA qualification, Confined spaces, shoring ticket, and NPORS excavator training.
  • Full Driving License with no more than 6 points.
