We are seeking a skilled Groundworker - Drainage Specialist to join our team at Public Sewer Services. As a key member of our drainage team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing sewers, installing new soakaways, and completing other drainage-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Repair: Install and repair sewers, including laying new pipes and repairing damaged ones.
- Soakaway Installation: Install new soakaways to ensure proper drainage and prevent water accumulation.
- Manhole Maintenance: Remove and replace manhole covers and frames to ensure safe and efficient access to sewer systems.
- Gully Repair: Repair and replace damaged gullies to prevent water damage and ensure proper drainage.
- Finishing Work: Complete necessary finishing work, such as relaying patio slabs, repairing concrete paths, and restoring lawns with new turf or topsoil.
Requirements:
- Driving Licence: Possess a valid driving licence for the UK.
- CSCS Registration: Be registered with the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).
- Confined Spaces Certification: Hold a City and Guilds - Confined Spaces certification.
- CAT and Genny: Possess a CAT and Genny certification.
- Small Digger Training: Have a small digger ticket or towing trailer licence, or be willing to undergo training.
