Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with our growth objectives. You will collaborate closely with our Sales and Operations teams to identify and pursue lucrative opportunities within the UK market and beyond.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead business development efforts for Sea Logistics, actively engaging with all levels of the sales organization to capitalize on key prospects.
  • Craft and implement a comprehensive strategy that drives growth in line with pre-determined targets for Sea Logistics operations.
  • Proactively engage with clients through targeted visits, nurturing existing relationships and generating new leads for the Sales team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with overseas collaborators, fostering pipeline development, lead generation, and collaborative activities.
  • Deeply understand customer requirements to ensure seamless alignment with our supplier sourcing strategies. Conduct regular reviews of market trends, emerging business opportunities, and value creation initiatives.
  • Guarantee that key client needs are effectively addressed, resulting in profitable and sustainable solutions for both parties.
  • Monitor and maintain service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both clients and suppliers through regular updates and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Proactively address any client service concerns or issues.
  • Embark on international travel to support business development initiatives and strengthen relationships with overseas partners.
Your Skills and Experiences:
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring efficient task prioritization and execution.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have experience in gathering and interpreting business needs, effectively proposing tailored solutions.
  • Exhibit a keen interest in Sea Logistics products and industry trends.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, adept at translating technical jargon for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate effectively at all levels, demonstrating strong networking skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
