About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital PR Account Manager to join our team at Embryo. As a key member of our PR team, you will be responsible for leading account strategies and budgets, managing day-to-day activities, and generating media coverage through Digital PR campaigns, newsjacking, and press office tactics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead account strategies and budgets to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, including client calls, ideas presentations, and reporting.
  • Develop and execute Digital PR campaigns, including newsjacking and press office tactics.
  • Identify and capitalize on newsjacking opportunities to secure media coverage.
  • Report on account activity to the Digital PR Lead and clients.
  • Ghostwrite comments and quotes for clients.
  • Draft press materials and onsite content.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists across various sectors.
  • Monitor and respond to media requests.
  • Develop targeted, bespoke media lists.
  • Collaborate with other delivery channels, including SEO, Content, Data, and Creative.
  • Support the Digital PR Lead in developing effective new processes and ways of working.
Requirements
  • Three+ years of experience in PR, either in-house or agency.
  • Strong understanding of Digital PR tactics and the modern media landscape.
  • Experience leading traditional PR tactics/strategies and examples of success.
  • Ability to execute an array of PR tactics in your strategy.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and ability to discuss with clients.
  • Curiosity and interest in current affairs, breaking news, and trend cycles.
  • Creative flair and ability to think outside the box.
  • Attention to detail and impeccable grammar skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to lead client calls and updates, as well as internal meetings.
  • Track record of securing notable press placements and pivoting account strategies.
  • Confidence in spotting good news angles or stories and seeing them through to completion.
  • Experience in end-to-end management of creative campaigns, including smaller and larger budgets.
  • Organized and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and ways of working.
