We are seeking a recent Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. As a specialist in mental health, you will work closely with our experienced educators to provide support to students with SEMH needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience in the education sector. You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with our team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans for students with SEMH needs
  • Provide one-to-one support to students, promoting social, emotional, and academic development
  • Collaborate with the educational psychologist to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements

We are looking for a recent Psychology Graduate who is passionate about working with young people and has a strong understanding of SEMH needs. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff.
