Trade Counter and Warehouse Operations Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Hireful. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our trade counter and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers visiting our trade counter, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including taking orders down and filling in picking slips for the warehouse team.
  • Load and unload lorries, and pick customer orders from the warehouse.
  • Assist with the face-to-face element of the role, serving customers at the trade counter and retrieving items from the warehouse as required.
  • Participate in the training program to obtain a Counterbalance FLT license, if not already held.
  • Occasionally drive and deliver specific parts to customers, requiring a full valid UK driving license.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a trade counter or warehouse environment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, and work at heights if required.
  • Full valid UK driving license and willingness to participate in the training program for a Counterbalance FLT license.
