About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Trade Operative to join our Planned team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including carpentry, tiling, and other wet trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all traditional duties of a multi-skilled fitter, primarily wet trades.
  • Perform carpentry work, including boxing and bath panels, studding, skirtings and doors, and related finishes.
  • Conduct wall and floor tiling to an excellent standard.
  • Install shower trays and fit kitchen worktops.
  • Ensure all work is completed to an excellent standard and that further work is required, contact Supervisors and agree on site with the customer.
  • Leave all sites clean and safe at the close of each day's work shift.
  • Be flexible around working hours to ensure that works are left at a suitable point each day.
  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations and codes of practice.
Requirements
  • Completion of nationally recognised trade qualification or an approved certificated qualification (or time experience).
  • Working knowledge of current building regulations, construction industry safety regulations, relevant British standards and codes of practice.
  • Experience of a social housing repairs and maintenance environment.
  • Multi-skilled experience, i.e., completing different trade work.
  • Outstanding customer care skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Need to pass BASIC DBS.
