Deputy Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Tesco. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading our store team and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of store presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer engagement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and achieve business objectives
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
