Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Authenticate and update vendor details, including bank verification and adherence to company policies.
- Validate purchase invoices and credit notes, applying problem-solving skills to disputed items.
- Ensure accuracy of data entry, processing transaction details, item lines, and tax correctly.
- Investigate and resolve day-to-day queries promptly and accurately.
- Support the administration of weekly and critical payment runs, including remittances.
- Perform regular vendor reconciliations and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with statutory reporting requirements, ensuring documentation is maintained and retained in line with company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with regular deadlines.
- Experience of operating across multiple legal entities with multi-currency accounts.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Great problem-solving and organizational skills with fantastic attention to detail.
- First-rate time management and prioritization skills.
- Customer-focused, accepting constructive feedback, and embracing change.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Advantageous to have experience with SAGE 300.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
