About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Operative to join our team at Burton's Biscuit in Batley. As an Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe start-up, operation, and shutdown of process equipment, while producing high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate between packing, stacking, and inspection tasks
- Pick and place biscuits at speed, pack them into boxes, and stack the boxes onto pallets
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of process equipment
- Produce high-quality products to our customers
Requirements
- Experience in a high-speed food manufacturing environment (full training provided)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work with limited supervision after training
- Good standards of literacy and numeracy
- Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling within site manual handling limits
