Job Title: Technical Lead - Marine Defence Project

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our team and lead the engineering team in delivering a Marine Defence project to a key client.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the engineering team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of project objectives.
  2. Integrate technical functions to ensure technical requirements are met.
  3. Ensure resource capabilities and skill allocation are suitable for the project.
  4. Hold regular meetings with project team leaders and members to ensure project progress.
  5. Support Project Managers in planning activities and tracking progress against the plan.
  6. Provide input on additional scope and change impact.
  7. Provide technical governance and ensure technical aspects comply with the Quality Management System.
  8. Ensure Quality representative has RFT data and reviews processed results.
  9. Support Project Managers on risk assessments during the project life cycle.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in Marine hardware, systems requirements, and standards.
  2. Experience in leading Engineering Teams to deliver complex multi-functional projects.
  3. Strong Engineering background for the listed capabilities.
  4. Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
  5. Marine Defence experience.
