The Chief of Mental Health will lead the development and implementation of the Trust's Mental Health Framework, ensuring that our service users have access to the best care and treatment outcomes while maintaining individualized care planning.
This pivotal leadership post will see the postholder act as an advocate for children and young people with mental health needs, collaborating widely with clinical directorates and clinical professions, and being actively engaged with external stakeholders pertaining to the mental health agenda.
The role will also have oversight of the mental health legislative framework, ensuring that our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Trust's Mental Health Framework, ensuring that it is aligned with the organization's overall strategy and goals.
- Act as an advocate for children and young people with mental health needs, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Collaborate with clinical directorates and clinical professions to ensure that mental health services are delivered in a coordinated and effective manner.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including mental health champion groups, to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of mental health care.
- Oversee the mental health legislative framework, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
