Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in delivering a comprehensive payroll service, ensuring that employees receive their salaries accurately and on time, while also supporting various HR functions as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and management of payroll processes for both UK and international employees, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain the HR information system with up-to-date payroll data, including new hires, changes in employment status, terminations, and various allowances.
  • Act as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries, addressing employee concerns and liaising with payroll service providers to resolve issues.
  • Gather and manage data related to employee absences and holidays for payroll calculations.
  • Administer monthly pension contributions, ensuring accurate reconciliation of all related transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports and other relevant business documentation.
  • Coordinate the annual preparation of P11d data.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding employee benefits processed through payroll, including pensions, healthcare, and childcare vouchers.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including communication with providers regarding new hires and terminations.
  • Support the Payroll, Benefits, and Reporting Manager with various ad-hoc tasks as required.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with international payroll coordination is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance deductions, and salary exchange schemes.
  • Strong proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • A flexible mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
  • Minimum GCSE grade B in English or equivalent qualification.
