Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at First Call Contract Services. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and revenue in the Midlands and Northern regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, including independent builders' merchants and landscape companies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including targeting key B2B customers and securing orders.
- Manage a daily, weekly, and monthly sales pipeline and diary to ensure effective sales and marketing activities.
- Attend regular service meetings with current clients to build strong, lasting relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Visit customers to showcase our product range, stock levels, and outdoor porcelain designs, and provide expert advice on paving and flooring solutions.
- Process orders from customers and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive business growth and revenue.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction or trade industry.
- Strong understanding of the consumer construction industry, including paving and outdoor flooring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and business growth.
- Basic starting salary is competitive, with industry-leading packages and excellent OTE's available.
