Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Camden. This is a full-time position covering maternity leave for a period of 1 year. You will be responsible for teaching and supporting the development of students in Year 1, fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and teaching assistants to create a supportive classroom environment.
  • Uphold the school's policies and values, promoting a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Passionate about teaching and making a difference in children's lives.
  • A valid DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
