Year 4 Teacher Required - Maternity Cover

About the School

Ark Franklin Primary Academy is a 3-form entry school serving a diverse population in Kensal Rise. The school prides itself on having high expectations for every pupil and aims to provide each child with the highest standards of education possible. The nursery holds 65 children, led by a qualified teacher and a team of experienced support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, varied, and inclusive lessons that cater to the needs of all students
  • Liaise with support staff to provide additional support to students who require it
  • Monitor student progress and adjust targets as needed
  • Provide students with constructive feedback on their progress
  • Ensure pupil safety both inside and outside of the classroom
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a qualified teacher is essential
  • Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment
